Repair Cafe: Children’s Ancestral Chair

James was a very happy little boy after his ancestral chair was brought into the  Repair Cafe on Sunday 28th January to be repaired.

It needed one of the back legs reattaching to the framework and was repaired by Pete one of our repairers.

The chair is approximately 50 years old and was his Mum’s when she was a little girl. It was originally purchased in New Zealand from a market by James’s Grandma and his cousin also has one.
